Tell us about what your morning routine looks like, and how you like to end your day?

Routine depends on the day but we rarely skip making the perfect shot of espresso in the morning. Usually the day ends with self-care rituals like stretching, drinking even more water and unwinding to rain sounds if it's not already raining.

Do you have any awards or achievements you’d like to mention?

Our first restaurant award was Best Business in Bagdad and granted by Prescott Chamber of Commerce. Receiving this type of recognition by Year Two was such a great feeling!

Do you have a favorite chef that you look up to and what advice would you give to aspiring chefs?

We both love cooking for each other but mom might still be one of our absolute favorite cooks! Advice would be to cook out of curiosity often; it's good for the soul and will take you exactly where you want to go.

What do you typically cook at home?

We're constantly adding to typical but lately our biggest kick has been scratch made curry and naan.

What’s a food trend that you’re loving right now and why?

The increase in all-natural/organic products coming into the mainstream market!

What’s the strangest food combination you’ve ever tried? And, did you like it?

The strangest food we've tried is Fufu. Coming from a food culture that often enjoys tortillas in the same way, it felt odd to eat sauces etc. with something fluffly and sticky but we loved it!

What drink do you enjoy most?

We both love infused water and it's something we make daily for our restaurant guests. Few things will lighten you up the same way.

Have you ever cooked for a celebrity? Do you have a story to tell?

No, but if you're a celebrity reading this, check us out!

What’s your Instagram so readers can follow you?

It’s @thestackedenchilada.
