Beyoncé has wrapped up her Renaissance global tour, so this is the ideal opportunity to highlight some of the luxury hotels that she and her family like staying at. The five opulent hotels below have been endorsed by Beyoncé, along with all the information you could possibly want to know about what makes these hotels so famous, where the pair likes to stay when they visit, and what you could expect to see.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have had a greater influence on the entertainment business than other power couple, thanks to their impressive jobs and lavish lifestyle. Any hotel fit for the Carters must be extraordinary, especially when you consider that their total net wealth is in the billions.
1. Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles, USA
Before Jay-Z and Beyoncé bought a home in Los Angeles, they had essentially moved into the Beverly Wilshire Hotel — which Beyoncé fans may remember from the previous year's "7/11" music video. Film enthusiasts may recognize it more as the hotel where the famed Rodeo Drive, which serves as a shopping destination in the film, was used for filming Pretty Woman.
2. Hotel Le Meurice, Paris, France
Roughly 200 years after Versailles established the standard for French opulence, Le Meurice opened for business in 1835. Since then, a number of renowned artists have passed through its doors, including Warhol, Picasso, Beyoncé, and Jay, who are said to choose the two-story Belle Etoile Penthouse Suite, which currently goes for over $30,000 a night. There are 160 smaller rooms overall, and the rates for them can reach $1,500 per night.
But Le Meurice isn't the only hotel in Paris to have received Beyoncé's endorsement. She allegedly slept at the Shangri-La hotel across the Seine from the Eiffel Tour during her 2016 Formation World Tour, while she and her family spent several weeks staying at Le Royal Monceau, Raffles, close to the Arc de Triomphe in 2015.
3. Hotel Cala di Volpe, Sardinia, Italy
On Beyoncé's 37th birthday in 2018, Beyoncé and Jay-Z had lunch at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia, the second-largest island in Italy. This was the last time they were sighted there. However, the Carters are familiar with the land. The hotel congratulated the couple for their stay after they were spotted leaving one of the eateries in 2016 after were pictured relaxing by the pool the year before.
Along with spacious balconies, the Shiseido spa offers personal trainers and skilled masseurs, a private beach, an Olympic-sized lagoon-style pool, and a plethora of activities and excursions, ranging from sailing and snorkeling excursions to Sardinian cooking classes and fashion shows.
4. Corinthia Hotel, London, UK
Not only was London's Corinthia Hotel Beyoncé's hotel of choice during her Renaissance global tour, but it has also made headlines recently because she gave VIP tickets to her concert to staff members who looked after her so well in the Royal Penthouse. The Corinthia Hotel is Beyoncé’s favorite hotel, with high praise coming from the professional jet setter.
5. Atlantis The Royal, Dubai, UAE
Six Jenga-like towers make up Atlantis The Royal, which is connected by a skybridge that is almost 300 feet long. There are 92 pools, 17 restaurants and bars, 795 rooms and suites, and a combined luxury hotel and residential complex. The hotel is situated on the outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island fashioned like a palm tree that offers visitors vistas of the Arabian Sea and glimpses of Dubai's architectural creativity. This position is highlighted by floor to ceiling windows.
Atlantis The Royal is appealing for more reasons than simply Beyoncé-approved hotels. Guests can enjoy top-notch shopping, wellness, fitness, styling, nightlife, and recreation all on-site at the neighboring Atlantis The Palm hotel, in addition to celebrity-chef-run restaurants, beach and pool clubs, and easily accessible sister venues. Atlantis Aquaventure is home to the "world's largest waterpark.”
