1. Tell us about what your morning routine looks like, and how you like to end your day?
Play my guitar, head to the gym and head to local farmer’s market.
2. Do you have any awards or achievements you’d like to mention?
We have won in the Best of Madison, WI restaurant category for 3 years in a row. We are located about 50 miles outside of Madison, so to be recognized in this search is really rewarding.
3. Do you have a favorite chef that you look up to and what advice would you give to aspiring chefs?
Paul Sprunger, he was the chef at The Del-Bar that I learned everything from when I was in my early 20's. I would say to align yourself with a mentor that will spend time with you and wants to teach you.
4. What do you typically cook at home?
I have been enjoying playing around with the Instapot and testing different methods.
5. What’s a food trend that you’re loving right now and why?
Using local, you can taste the difference and I really enjoy knowing where the food is coming from.
6. What’s the strangest food combination you’ve ever tried? And, did you like it?
Chocolate covered bacon, it's a classic sweet and salty combination!
7. Have you ever cooked for a celebrity? Do you have a story to tell?
Johnny Depp came in while filming Public Enemies in the area. He loved the food and was great with customers that were looking for an autograph.

9. What cocktail or beverage do you enjoy most?
Rye Whiskey over a large ice cube.
