Bush Official Claims U.S. Built Secret $21T Underground “City for the Rich” to Live if Near-Extinction Happens

The federal government has reportedly invested trillions in constructing a vast network of underground “cities” designed to protect the wealthy and influential during a potential “near-extinction event,” according to a former Bush administration official. Since 1998, approximately 170 such bunkers have been established throughout the United States, including some located beneath the ocean near the US coastline, 74-year-old Catherine Austin Fitts revealed during an interview on Tucker Carlson's podcast.

Describing this as preparation for a catastrophic event, Fitts — who was assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George H. W. Bush from 1989 to 1990 — alleged that $21 trillion in taxpayer funds were channeled into this initiative between 1998 and 2015. While she offered no direct evidence for these assertions, she referenced a 2017 report by Michigan State University economist Mark Skidmore, which uncovered significant “unauthorized spending” within the Departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development during the same period.

After two years of reviewing records concerning known underground military bases, Fitts expanded her inquiry to include claims about a broader bunker network. By correlating her findings with the unaccounted government funds, she estimated the true number of these facilities. She maintained that the figure of 170 pertains only to those on U.S. soil and coastlines, suggesting that many more exist internationally.

She explained that the bases are linked by a complex transportation network and claimed they are powered by a classified energy source known only to the military. “I’m convinced this energy exists. If you observe many of the extremely fast ships flying around the planet, they aren’t powered by conventional electricity,” she remarked, seemingly referencing a series of strange unidentified aerial phenomena reported in recent years. According to Fitts, these supposed bases serve not only as doomsday shelters for the elite but also as sites where the government conducts “secret” missions, including a “secret space program.”

The existence of sophisticated underground government facilities and bunkers is well documented. During the Cold War, the Cheyenne Mountain Complex was constructed inside a mountain in Colorado to act as a fortified command center for various military operations and is now operated by the US Space Force. Additionally, from the 1950s to the 1990s, a concealed bunker designed to shelter all members of Congress in an emergency was built beneath The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, kept entirely secret at the time.

Fitts, a former investment banker who later worked in the Bush administration, also shared several other extraordinary theories during her conversation with Carlson. These included claims that the COVID-19 vaccine contains DNA-altering components and that a secretive global organization is attempting to enslave humanity through mind control, as reported by the Daily Mail.
