Morning always start with some fresh coffee, a quick inventory, and preparation of the day’s soups. Whatever time is left before service is spent posting some of our daily specials to our socials.

The end of my day usually involves working on the following day’s specials and preparing a morning prep list.
Do you have any awards or achievements you’d like to mention?
We are 5 time finalists for the “Best Burger in NY” competition hosted by the NY Beef Council.
We have won both “Best Burger” and “Best Ice Cream” in Hudson Valley, NY 3 years running on a Townsquare Media station aka WPDH.
We are 3 time winners of the Milford Winter Festival Chili Cook Off.
Over the past 9 years, we have won Best Chef, Best Burgers, Best Desserts and Best Ice Cream in local news publications as well.
Do you have a favorite chef that you look up to and what advice would you give to aspiring chefs?
I definitely found a lot inspiration early on from chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Guy Fieri, and Robert Irvine. My best advice for aspiring chefs would be to find something that you’re passionate about and never stop chasing it.
What do you typically cook at home for yourself or your family?
i usually always keep it simple as most days I eat at work.
What’s a food trend that you’re loving right now and why?
I would say for me it has to be food fusion exploration. I am and always will be obsessed with mixing different flavor combinations to see how well they pair together.
What’s that strangest food combination you’ve ever tried? And, did you like it?
That would have to be Peanut Butter and Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger, and yes, I absolutely loved it!
What cocktail or beverage do you enjoy most?
That’s a simple one. Coffee. Not really a cocktail fan.
Have you ever cooked for a celebrity? Do you have a story to tell?
Not too long ago, Amar'e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks stopped here for lunch. That was a really cool experience.
