Delta One’s New Wine List Brings Napa Valley and Global Wines Onboard
For travelers in Delta One, the wine list is getting a significant upgrade this fall. Beginning October 1, 2026, Delta will introduce a new collection of 13 wines from 11 winery partners, bringing Napa Valley favorites and selections from major wine regions around the world onboard.
The program was developed with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson and, for the first time, included SkyMiles Members in blind tastings used to help shape the final selection. The result is intended to make premium wine more approachable while connecting each bottle with the destinations and people behind it.

Napa Valley Takes Center Stage
Napa Valley forms the foundation of the new Delta One collection, with familiar names including Silver Oak, Trefethen Family Vineyards, St. Supéry, Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs and Freemark Abbey. Sonoma's Patz & Hall is also part of the program.
The selections will rotate throughout the year, giving frequent Delta One travelers opportunities to discover different wines depending on their route and travel date.
For international Delta One travelers, Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon will be available from October 2026 through March 2027, while domestic Delta One customers will find Trefethen Family Vineyards during the same period.
St. Supéry will be offered on both domestic and international Delta One routes, with its Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon selections available through September 2027.

Champagne Taittinger Is Expanding
Another notable change is the expansion of Champagne Taittinger.
Already available in Delta One Lounges and on international Delta One, the French Champagne house will begin appearing across Delta One experiences, including domestic routes, starting October 1.
That gives passengers another familiar luxury label to look for as Delta expands its premium beverage program.

Wine Designed for 35,000 Feet
Selecting wine for an airline presents a different challenge than building a restaurant wine list. Cabin pressure and lower humidity can affect the way aromas and flavors are perceived, so Delta evaluates wines specifically for how they perform in flight.
The new program emphasizes freshness, balance, texture and versatility with onboard meals.
Delta also has its Sky Sommelier program, which provides specialized wine training for flight attendant leaders so passengers can receive guidance on the selections.
For Delta One travelers, the result is a wine program designed to make the journey itself part of the discovery.
