Delta is bringing the premium lounge experience to the West Coast with the opening of the Delta One Lounge at LAX

Red carpet ready? Delta is bringing the premium lounge experience to West Coast customers with the opening of the Delta One Lounge at LAX. Next door to the Delta Sky Club at Terminal 3, Delta’s second Delta One Lounge – with seating for nearly 200 guests – is directly connected to the Delta One check-in for a completely private, high-touch ground experience.

Inspired by both the natural and manmade beauty of Los Angeles, the lounge color palette evokes the landscape of Southern California. The landscaped terrace, featuring seating for 26, includes accent pillows furnished by Delta One luxury partner Missoni. Vases, pillows and coffee table books in the library lounge area also bear the signature mark of the iconic Italian fashion house. Lounge artwork, including artists from the United States, Philippines, South Africa, Haiti, Japan and more, represents the global reach of this coastal hub.

Like no other: The newest attraction in Los Angeles is at LAX

Sunset hues, complemented by leather and walnut accents, color the Icon Bar. The airiness of the coast is reflected in the Verde Emerald quartzite and onyx back bar. The glistening feature ceiling over the Icon Bar pays homage to majesty of the Pacific. Feature lighting throughout the lounge, like the dramatic wall lighting in the library lounge and dining room, nod to the glamour of old Hollywood. Crafted details – such as fluted walnut paneling and oculus inspired ceilings – reflect LA’s renowned architectural history, from Modernism to Art Deco.

A dining experience fit for the A-List

Delta’s signature hospitality plays the starring role in the LAX lounge. Guests can enjoy service-led dining from every seat—and with a regularly rotated menu featuring elevated dishes like crispy duck tacos, pan-roasted salmon and roasted corn pizza, returning guests can look forward to discovering new favorites. In addition, a year-round sushi bar – an LAX exclusive – is available for guests who prefer their meal on a roll. All food and drink in the lounge is designed for attendant service – which means you can sit back, relax, and let the dining experience come to you.

Globally minded foodies, let your journey guide your palate with a rotating selection of location-themed Bento boxes, featuring items from Paris, Tokyo, and Boston – all LAX Delta One destinations. Those who prefer to sip their way around the world can sample LAX Delta One Lounge “Destination Libations,” with signature cocktails represented by airport codes. Try a Mai Tai-inspired cocktail representing Tahiti (PPT), or a gin-forward mix that nods to London (LHR).
