Elegant and opulent — The cafe itself drew inspiration from the novella published in 1958 of the same name, Breakfast at Tiffany's, by Truman Capote.

The Blue Box Café® by Daniel Boulud serves refined riffs on signature New York dishes (think smoked salmon and bagel stack, chopped salad, club sandwich), in addition to finger sandwiches and sweets during high tea. For those thinking that the dining room is a luxurious experience, they'd be correct. The space, which is outfitted entirely in Tiffany Blue from the plush chairs to the marble walls, and tableware is enough, in and of itself, to lure eager fans.

Before it was closed for renovations there was at least a 30-day waitlist at all times. So, what’s the best way to get a reservation at Blue Box Café® by Daniel Boulud? First, it’s not easy. Reservations open only 30 days in advance of your desired date and you will want to have everything at the ready (including your credit card) to try to book on Resy before 8:59AM. So when 9AM (EST) ticks over you can take your best shot, because by 9:01AM, it’s game over — all reservations will be taken. Good luck!
