American Express Centurion Lounge Expansion: New Boston, Charlotte & Dallas Locations

American Express Announces New Boston, Charlotte & Dallas Centurion Lounge Locations

As premium travel continues to evolve, American Express is doubling down on its airport lounge strategy with plans to expand the Centurion Lounge® Network, currently spanning more than 30 locations worldwide. The next phase of growth introduces new destinations and enhanced spaces designed to elevate the pre-flight experience—blending hospitality, dining, and design into environments that feel more like boutique hotels than airport lounges.

Among the most anticipated additions is a brand-new Centurion Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport, expected to open in 2029. Positioned within one of the Northeast’s busiest travel hubs, the space is set to bring the brand’s signature design language—refined interiors, curated artwork, and chef-driven menus—to Boston for the first time. As with other locations, travelers can expect a seamless blend of comfort and sophistication, tailored to both business and leisure passengers.

In Charlotte Douglas International Airport, American Express will introduce the second-ever Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge, slated for 2027. This more intimate lounge concept offers a condensed, design-forward experience—ideal for travelers seeking a quick but elevated stop between flights. With a focus on craft cocktails, small plates, and a social, bar-centric atmosphere, Sidecar reflects a shift toward flexible, experience-driven lounge formats within high-traffic airports. Meanwhile, a major expansion is planned for the existing Centurion Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, also expected to debut in 2027. As one of the busiest airports in the United States, DFW’s upgraded lounge will significantly increase capacity while enhancing amenities—introducing more seating, improved dining areas, and upgraded wellness-focused features to accommodate growing demand from Card Members.

What defines this next chapter for the Centurion Lounge Network is its continued evolution beyond traditional airport waiting areas. Each new and expanded space is designed to feel intentional and immersive—where food, design, and service come together to create a distinct sense of place, even within the fast-paced environment of an airport.

With these upcoming openings and enhancements, the Centurion Lounge Network continues to set the standard—transforming the journey into something that begins long before takeoff.
