The Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, which is one of Lisbon’s only luxury hotels, has preserved the historic architecture and design, while reinventing its interior with a contemporary touch under the direction of highly acclaimed Portuguese architecture studio Oitoemponto, and design duo Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec.

Located in the heart of the city, the hotel serves as an architectural emblem from 1950’s Portugal, with a museum quality art collection, all commissioned for the hotel, and classic design details, such as marble bathrooms, that were left untouched.

The urban oasis has been modernized to feature the most advanced technology for light, vision, and sound. Along with redesigned guest rooms and suites, a secluded, heated outdoor pool and outdoor bar are now available for guests' enjoyment, as well as a new restaurant, Cura, which has been awarded a Michelin star only one year since opening.

Inspired by the Hotel’s pure fifties style room #44, the new vibe is authentic yet still pioneering 1950s: a Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon trademark, and while successfully evoking the past, it proudly steps into the present, with each room featuring the most advanced technology for light, vision and sound. Already blessed by the generous balconies, they are now much cozier and perfect for breath-taking views of this beautiful capital.
