Airlines, cruise lines, tourism boards, attractions, tour operators, wineries, spas and travel technology — we rewrite your announcement as an original travel story and publish it permanently on 5 Reasons to Visit®, where travelers read it instead of the trade press.
Live in 2–3 business days · Permanent URL · Organizations worldwide
Travel is far bigger than hotels. Every category below generates announcements that travelers would genuinely want to know about — and almost none of them ever reach one.
A press release is written to inform the media. A travel story is written to make someone want to go. Same facts — but only one of them ever reaches a future traveler.
“[Airline] Announces New Nonstop Service Between [Hub] and [City] Commencing [Date]”
“[Airline] today announced the launch of new nonstop service, operating [FREQUENCY] weekly on [AIRCRAFT], subject to regulatory approval, further strengthening the carrier's network…”
“You Can Now Reach the Azores in One Flight — and It Changes the Trip Entirely”
“Until this spring, getting there meant a connection and most of a day. From May it is a single flight, which turns a nine-day expedition into a long weekend — and that is the part worth planning around…”
“[Destination] Tourism Board Launches Integrated Campaign to Drive Visitation in [Year]”
“[Destination] Tourism Board today unveiled a multi-channel marketing campaign designed to increase overnight visitation, following a [PERCENT] year-on-year increase in arrivals…”
“Five Reasons to Visit [Destination] Before Everyone Else Does”
“The coast road reopened in March, the ferry runs twice daily again, and the town that spent a decade half-empty has quietly become the most interesting place to eat in the region…”

Yes. New routes, cabin and seat products, lounge openings, loyalty changes, fleet news and codeshare partnerships all work well as travel stories, because each one changes something concrete for a traveler deciding how to fly.
Yes, and destination news suits this format particularly well. Campaign launches, new attractions, festival programming, direct-flight announcements and visitor milestones can all be written as stories that make a reader consider the destination rather than simply report on it.
A single story is $299. Three stories are $799, which works out to $266 each. Five stories are $1,199, or $240 each. There are no renewal fees and every story is published permanently.
A wire distributes your release as a release, to journalists and database sites, where it is read largely by the industry. We use your announcement as source material for an original travel story published on a consumer travel publication. Many organizations use both — the wire for the announcement, and us for a story aimed at travelers.
Yes. The three and five story packages are built for agencies managing several travel clients, and stories can be used across different clients or brands.
Yes. We publish stories about travel organizations anywhere in the world and accept payment in USD from cards issued in any country. Our readership is primarily American with strong international reach, which is valuable for attracting American travelers to an international brand or destination.
Most stories publish within two to three business days of receiving your materials and payment. If you have an embargo or a launch date, tell us in your submission and we will work to it. Not sure your release is ready? Run it through our free press release grader first.
